Burnt Broccoli

Ingredients

  • Head of broccoli
  • 1 Tbsp butter
  • 2 cloves garlic (thinly sliced)
  • 2 Tbsp sliced/chopped almonds

Method

  1. Chop brocco into florets
  2. Heat oil in a pan until almost smoking (you’ll hear cracking)
  3. Add brocco and don’t move the pan until you see the brocco starting to char
  4. Flip each broccoli floret over and allow to char on the other side
  5. Add 20mls of water to degalze the pan, then add butter, garlic and almonds to one side of the pan and cook for 1 min
  6. Then toss to coat broccoli evenly
  7. Serve immediately – best super hot
