Ginger bread

Ingredients

  • 50g Olivani
  • 1 Tbsp golden syrup
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 brown sugar
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 2 tsp ginger
  • 1 tsp mixed spice
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 3/4 cup milk (I used almond)

Method

  1. Pre heat oven to 190 degrees Celsius
  2. Line a loaf tin
  3. Melt Olivani and golden syrup together
  4. Add egg and brown sugar, mix well
  5. Add all other dry ingredients except baking soda
  6. Mix the soda with the milk and stir into the mixture
  7. Pour into loaf and baking for 30-40 mins
  8. Serve smothered in more Olivani
