Huevos Shatshuka

Ingredients

  • Onions
  • Garlic
  • Capsicum
  • Tinned tomatoes
  • Paprika
  • Salt & pepper
  • Tzarr (special spice), maybe chilli instead
  • Optional: sugar, balsamic vinegar, spices
  • Eggs

Method

  1. Sauté the onions, garlic and capsicum.
  2. Add tinned tomatoes, paprika, salt, pepper, tzarr and any optionals.
  3. When happy with the taste, make wells in the sauce.
  4. Add eggs, put the lid on.
  5. Serve pretty quickly (the eggs continue cooking in the sauce).
