Ingredients
Makes a great amount for a standard pie dish!
- 1 and 1/2 cups flour
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 1/2 cup lukewarm water
Method
- Mix dry ingredients, add wet ingredients, bring together (no kneading required). Shouldn’t be sticky, add more flour if needed.
- Sit in fridge for 30 mins – overnight.
- Roll out using more flour, and place in a buttered dish before adding pie filling and closing up.
- Brush top with whisked egg or some kind of milk.
- Cook around 200 degrees for 15mins, then turn down to 160 to finish cooking for another 20mins.
