Ribs

Marinade:

  • 1/4 tsp chilli powder
  • thumb of ginger
  • 2 cloves/tsp garlic
  • orange juice 150ml
  • apple cider vinegar
  • 2 large tsps tomato ketchup
  • 1 T Dijon mustard
  • good splash of soy sauce
  • 100g brown sugar

Method:

  1. Pre-heat oven to 200 degrees C.
  2. Season ribs with oil/salt/pepper
  3. Simmer marinade in a frypan until it is all mixed together and saucy.
  4. Brush ribs with a bit of the marinade, cover with foil, cook in oven for 1:15 basting at 30 and 60mins.
  5. Pre-heat BBQ. Cook uncovered for final 15mins basting halfway through.
  6. Throw them on the bbq for 5-10mins, constantly basting and searing to make it delicious-looking.
